In TissueApp we introduced a new feature called "Verbosity". Under this fascinating name, lies a very powerful feature. The "Verbosity" settings of TissueApp allows you to decide what comments you'd like to be synced with GitHub and Zendesk.
Here is a quick walkthrough and explanation of how verbosity works in TissueApp:
NOTE: Please note that these settings are across all of your Zendesk/GitHub issues through TissueApp. You can change it at anytime but it will be applied to all the issues on your account.
"Sync everything (default)":
This setting will sync the description as the first comment to a GitHub issue and will also sync all the comments (private and public) on the ticket at the time of the escalation as additional comments on the GitHub issue.
"Sync only new comments":
This setting will sync the description as the first comment to a GitHub issue and will also sync comments from Zendesk (public and private) only after the exact date and time of escalation.
For example if you had 5 comments on a Zendesk ticket and you escalated that Zendesk ticket to GitHub through TissueApp, we would using this Verbosity settings only synchronize comments from the minute you escalated. That means all previous 5 comments wouldn't show up on the GitHub issue, only the newly added ones post escalation would.
"Don't sync any comment":
This setting will sync the description as the first comment to a GitHub issue only. All subsequent and past comments on Zendesk (public and private) will NOT be synced back to the GitHub issue.
